Summer’s 4th Birthday + Happy Mother’s Day

Ahh….I have so many overdue events to update.

One at a time!

8th May 2011

It’s Summer’s 4th birthday as well as my long-lost meet with Hanni, whom I haven seen for the last 10 years!! We’ve been in contact in facebook and I miss the babe ever since she left for Aussie and then subsequently, U.S, 10 years ago. Her hubby is a Caucasian, love her to bits and they produced 2 charming kids, Summer and Scott. The party was pretty crowded so I didnt really take many pictures. So glad to meet Ash too who’s staying in the same condo, whom I haven seen for quite a while too. And no joke, both of them still looked as hot as they always do, despite with no make-up!

Isnt she the most adorable and sweetest creature on earth?

Summer is like a breath of fresh air whom you cant help loving no matter how much kids might not be your cup of tea. If I ever have a baby daughter like her, I’m sure she will be my sunshine everyday I woke up. =) If you’re still having the burning question as to when I’ll have a baby, “the answer is “no, no yet”. =)

Happy Birthday Summer!!

The 3 of us chatted for awhile and said about meeting up for another drink soon before I left to meet Mummy for dinner as it’s Mother’s Day too.

Happy Mother’s Day, my dearest and greatest mummy in the world. I got her 2 pairs of earrings and I really hope she likes it. Actually, seriously, I’ve already run out of ideas on what to give her. Her favorite colour is purple. =)

Earrings from Kaori’s Creations, of course. =)

Blossoms of Love

Violet Dreams – wearable in 2 ways

Hope she likes it. =)

We had our dinner at West Mall, Swensen, which is Mummy’s favorite. I wished to let her try Mayim Cuisine but the queue was simply horrible. Nevertheless, we waited for a prettttty long time before the dishes arrived. Ahh….they’re not really worth a mention and seriously disappoints me because I’ve always feel Swensen’s dishes have a minimum standard. Anyway, at least we enjoyed the Earthquake(icecream). Keke!

It has been ages since I took photos with Mummy. And seriously, after I got my hair cut quite horribly, I’ve been shunning the camera like a plague. =S However, it’s Mother’s Day! So pictures it is!

Love you much Mummy and I wish you the pink of health, stay happy and beautiful always. =D

We shopped around in West Mall and I spotted a lovely oil burner at a pushcart!!

It’s love at first sight.

Love the artsy paintings on the uniquely-shaped burner. It reminds me of a light house. =) Was kinda worried that it will be overly expensive. I inquired the price of a simple burner before, one with at least 3-4 hours capacity and it was a freaking $49.90!

I also love it that the tray is removable. That will probably decrease the chance of clumsy me breaking it while carrying it to and fro. Erm, I broke the last one we bought from Bali. =(

Taken by iphone via Instagram

Oh And it’s only $25! =D

Now it’s sitting on our newly bought side table from Seahorse. =)

Love it! Matches the bed perfectly! Love the deep deep drawers too! I love storage anywhere, anytime.

Actually we ran a few places to find a suitable side table but it’s not easy because room runs Victorian style. I cant believe we found the perfect one at Seahorse while shopping at Causeway Point and it’s around $200 only! Like less than half price of our “old” side table. (=.=)”’

What happens to the “old” side table?

It’s main purpose is to hold the Avante Humidifier. It’s also appropriate else the bedroom look abit empty at this side.

Reviews of Avante Humidifier
There’s a knob to adjust level of humidity. I much prefer the highest for my dry skin but water really gets depleted really quickly, like 2 days. I know it’s probably much longer than those little humidifier which only lasted hours. But it’s troublesome to refill the large tub of water la…so I reduce the that the water can last around 3days or so.

Strictly no oil-based aromatherapy, it will get it stucked. Only water-based can be used. So far so good. It’s $88, pretty economical for it’s large capacity I supposed. =)

Aiyooooo~~ My poor back! =(  Just back not long from Peg’s house, MJ together with Kt and Suan. And the chairs have no backsssss. I’m really lousy. Peg is like 8months preggie and was totally fine without the back support. I’m so impressed. Thank god, for the first 2 rounds out of 3, I actually had the privillege of leaning against the shoe cabinet. The last round simply wore me off. Lucky win of $180. Pleaseeeee dont always think I win la. This certainly doesnt happen often okieeee~ Treated the girls Mac as an littleeee appreciation, because Suan always refused to accept my money when she tabao food to my house and Kt always fetch/send me home. =) Oh, today dearie came to fetch me instead and I accompanied him to eat Roti prata nearby. =)

Had been super busy lately. I kinda got sick too but had recovered. Hmm…some summarized updates will be the joyous outings with dearies, movie reviews(the post below), mum admitted to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the pub gathering with Iv and gang.

For those who are concerned, thank you very much, my mum is much better already. Guessed she overworked and therefore fainted in the office. Ambulance was called. Am very glad that she finally took MC and took some rest. Am sorry that I missed Yu and Cyn’s baby shower. Simply too exhausted to be running to and fro taking care of her. =( Sometimes…I can get so frustrated…she simply refused to listen. I hope she understands that she needs to rest when she’s sick and not insisted on going to work. Sometimes even though she is okay to work, sleep and rest is needed to recuperate fully. That is probably the problem which most workaholics and old folks dont understand. 休息是为了走更长远的路. It’s no use that you dragged yourself to work but you’ll never recover for one whole week or more! Isnt MC 1 day and thereafter fully recover to resume working a much better and comfortable choice?

Finallyyyy, dearie took time to accompany me shopping! Felt as if I’ve never shop(other than online, Hahahaha!) for so long!  I finally visited dear Ser’s pretty little shop at Fareast Plaza!

Pou Pée

Fareast Plaza at #03-42, Shop 19!

Do add their facebook for exclusive promos!! Online shopping at their facebook is available too if you’re lazy to step out from your house! Currently there’s an exclusive online promo with everything going at $20 only! But do act fast because their stocks finished realllll fast!  I so loved the light pink lacey top and pearly cardigan I bought there! I wished I’ve taken pic of them. They are really sweet and gorgeous. Very very good quality too and I dont see other blogshops selling them. =) Oh, their shop is on the 3rd level. From the escalator, simply head towards your 1pm direction into the very corner. They’re around there. =)

Sweet dearie also accompanied me shopping at Haji Lane. =D Heard from Cori during our mj game that it was pretty fun to shop there. Certainly, I saw a few really exclusive and vintage items. Not alot though. Most are still blogshop items. Hmm their items priced from low to high. As low as $10(blogshop racks) and as high as $100 a top at boutiques. And actually there werent many shops…perhaps because not all were rented out bah. Was kinda disappointed when the shopping lane came to an end. I didnt buy anything at all! =(

Just bought vouchers at for dearie and friends. We’re going Settlers’ Cafe soon!! $11 nett for 4 course dinner and 3 hours gaming. Woo!! Looking forward! I hope there’s enough games for our big group of 8!

Tomorrow, or rather later, is Rem and Eil’s baby girlie’s shower. Looking forward to baby vivi’s shower too, which is soon! Baby girls have been sprouting like crazy around me this year, that it’s almost scary. Hahaha.

Busy busy busyyyy~ But I’m loving it. =)

I love being real toOoooooo *Updated*

Busy as a bee. Mainly because today(now) is dearie’s birthday eve and I’m celebrating the eve as well as actual day with him. =D Spent some time(and lots of money. =X) planning and hope he like what I plan for him la. Which is actually also not alot of things. Stay tuned for his birthday post then. =)

Met up with Lin just now and we had a hell of a discussion. Mainly we’re kpkb with some frustrations in our lives. =P But okok lah, small things. I complain complain awhile okie liao. Thanks for hearing me losoh. *paiseh*

Got 2 items from her blogshop, ilovebeingreal. =D

Totally love their layout. It’s super refreshing, vibrant and cheerful~ And totally generous number of pictures as to side/front/back view as well as super close-up views!

Dont know why my pictures turn out blur on wordpress. Visit ilovebeingreal better, for brighter, sharper pictures.

And I love the 2 items below because of the very comfy material and most important of all, they’re TRUE TO PIC! I got exactly what I expected and perceived. Thumbs up!

Vanity Corner Chiffon Romper

The prints are super kawaii and unique! Perhaps I haven mention before but I dislike having ordinary and common items. I love simple yet UNIQUE items. =) And lately I have this obsession with rompers. HAHA!

2nd item~

Navy Cotton Jacket

Oh, this came up to be abit shorter than I’ve expected. I usually prefer jackets or rather trench-coat styles, which reach my upper thigh(as on the model) because it can hide the fact that I have a short torso. HAHA! Hmm…..dont have the habit of checking out dimensions and length, my fault my fault. Still, love the functional pockets and conventionality of the versatile jacket. =)

This is not my first time buying from ilovebeingreal. My first purchase was;

Love it too! Because not only it is true to pic, it’s very flattering as well, make me look very slim, and with slim arms. HAHA! Though it’s actually a short dress, falls well above my knees! Must be careful not to run light. Hmm…just realised clothings on the pretty model Vivian are shorter on me. And I thought my torso is short? Hmm…….weird. She looks(and I suspect she is) taller than me ley~

On the other hand, was SUPER disappointed with Fur*******.
I ordered a brown tube top, somehow, a black version DRESS was mailed to me! =.= I’ve emailed them about the error. If they’re going to tell me the one in the pic is a black one, I will just cough blood. If that’s the case, totally not true to pic! Somemore there’s another picture of the black version above it. So it couldnt be the same black top/dress right?

Obviously I wanted the brown.

You see. Only this 2 pictures. Not very clear too. Plus there are NO other descriptions of the colours available nor state it’s a top or a dress. It looks more like a top isnt it? DUhz. I simply ordered by code in the website.

So now you know how important is “true-to-pic”!

I want the item
which is brown in colour but a black one was being delivered to me.

I hope you dont tell me the one in the picture is actually black?

to me
2:05 PM (15 minutes ago)

Hi dear,

First of all,we could like to apologies for any inconvenience caused.
The dress is in black color.
Colors shown in the pictures may not correspond 100% to those in the items themselves due to differences in monitor setting as we have stated in our blog.
Sorry once again and we sincerely seek for you understanding.
Thank you.

My reply to them

But the top and bottom picture looks totally different in colours.
When you never state which colours are available NOR state whether it’s a top or dress AT ALL,
people will naturally think there are 2 colours available since they look so different!
If this is your service to a first time customer then I’m terribly disappointed.
And I didnt ask for a refund at all, I was sincerely hoping for a credit with you so that I can buy
other stuff with you in future. But sadly, your attitude is poor and service is irresponsible.
S$12 to see through a blogshop ethics is still considered cheap.

Definitely the first and last time I’m buying~

And you think your business is good. Perhaps it is, but with your current attitude, it’s hard to go far.
And bad news do travel~

– Show quoted text –

Yes. I’m so mean. =P Heck, spending $12 on nothing. If I know better, will rather donate them away. Another piece of frock taking space in my bulging wardrobe.

Show-offing my gifts from Lin from Bangkok. =DDD Dont jealous okieeeee~

A pouch! So cuteeeee!!

Cutie cake zipper knob!

Behind different design!

For me to mum-mum! =D

Thank you Sweetie!! I love them! =D

I’m soOoo into Xmas mood already!!! =DDDDD

Great buys from JB

Damn! I left my Lumix LX5 in dearie’s car, so there’s so much stuff which I cant blog about as the pictures are inside. Have to wait till he’s back then I can pass Ah Lin her pre-birthday buffet dinner pics too. =P

Meanwhile, I still have my Panasonic Lumix pink compact so I just snapped pictures of my JB buys and going to post them here.

(English translation: Having ever seen a vast ocean , one may not content himself with a pond of water.)

After using Lumix LX5, I’ve grown so critical of blurry pictures, even if it’s only slight. It made me feel how could I possibly posted those not-very-sharp pictures online? =P Anyway, just a simple post of my shopping buys, guess it doesnt matter. =)

Kat, Suan, Gra and me enjoyed ourselves totally during our JB trip. No pictures as I didnt bring my camera.

We first went for our late lunch at a kopitiam on Kat’s recommendation. She was right. The soup was really nice. It wasnt really bah kut teh’s taste. It was just some soup lah, I only know it’s nice with some bah kut inside. We also ordered other side dishes like 麻油鸡, 金针菇, 猪肚, 油条 and tau pok. Perhaps I was realllyyyy very hungry, I felt they’re very nice.

After that, we went City Square as they wanted to do pedi and mani. Actually I wasnt very keen and preferred to go shopping. But Gra tried very hard to “seduce” me with the salon’s designs booklet, showing all the gorgeous nail arts. Blatantly coercing me to indulge together. =P I know they’re cheap but to ask me to sit there for an hour plus with my hands and feet stiff, hmm……………………

Eventually I gave in. Because I saw gorgeous leopard prints nail art! I love leopard prints!! Yeah leopard prints, not prings okie. Kekeke. Aiya, but eventually I got disappointed all over again because they said my nails are too small to be able to see the nail arts properly. =(

So I merely did simple ribbons nail art on my big toenails only.

OMG!! It’s only when I took this picture then realised 1 tiny gold pearl had dropped. =( Anyway, not really obvious lah. *Couped* this design from some Japanese mag there.

I was very pleased with the ribbon and it’s pearl on it but was extremely disappointed when she started to dot the nail in chocolate in some malay style. It was supposed to be checkerz style as in the magazine. =(

I did wanted some nail arts for my thumbs but by then, they had finished and I dont wish them to wait for me so I forsaked that. Not that it matters alot lah, I’m also not tai tai, manicure wouldnt have last very long too. I have to compliment them for my manicure though. It’s done very nicely and trust me, my manicures are very difficult to do nicely. =P

Mani + Pedi = RM$55

3D Nail art(RM$16 each) = RM$32

Total = RM$89

Is nail art supposed to be this price? Omg! You girls really bear to spend huh. It’s very expensive to me! =P I did heard 3D nail arts are slightly more expensive. Among us, only Gra did elaborate nail arts on both hands and feet so she incurred bigger damage, like over RM$100.

When we’re finished, most of the shops were already closed or a few were closing soon too. We popped into Watson which was still lit up. =)

Just looking at this makes me smile. =D

Didnt see this in Singapore Watson. And I love shower gels!! Especially in Sakura blossoms. =)

And I bought something which I normally wont buy………

2 sets of home slippers. Too bad dont have different colours to differentiate dearie’s pair from mine.
Tumbler and mug with lid. =D

I adore the little sweet thing but will vastly prefer it to change it’s name, to like, something sweeter? I’m ok with Rila, but not very okie with kuma. =P The name totally dont suit at all.

They’re so cheap, only RM$9.90 each. You’re only supposed to buy only 1 item with every RM$10 purchase. But because we girls got so crazy with ALL the Rila’s items and the young malay cashiers were pretty chin chai so they let us get whatever we want!!

Kat and Suan also bought Rila’s small blanket. Very cute. Okie, I shall refer Rilakkuma as Rila in future. =P

Just when we’re about to turn into the carpark, I saw a shoe shop yet to close! Immediately I yelled at them and promptly took a step into the shop. It was S.U.M.M.I.T and they have such nice shoes!!! I kinda remembered they werent very outstanding when I visited them ages back.

This time round, there were soOOo many pairs which I love but as usual, my size run out very quickly.

Told you to produce more size 3 shoes liao lor!!

Eventually I managed to grab 1 pair which I absolutely love!!

Lovely isnt it??!!!

It was priced at RM$129.90, coming to approximately S$55 maybe? I intended to get it because designs like this usually costs like S$80 or more in Singapore’s Charles & Keith. =D

All of us were busily trying out our favorite pairs when our very sharp Gra saw the adv of RM$15 for their membership which entitles the member to enjoy 10% off regular items at all times, as well as……

30% off during birthday month!!!

Yeah!!! But whose birthday is in Nov??!!

Suan!!! Suan!!! Suan!!! Suan!!! Suan!!! Suan!!!

Lagi happy lah. If the 30% were’nt limited to 5 items, and if the shop werent closing so early, we probably would have lugged more items!!

Coincidentally, Kat, Suan and Gra all had their eyes on the SAME pair of shoes and they all bought the same design. (=.=)””’ Suan and Gra bought the light blue wedges while Kat got it in dark blue.

I also lugged 1 more sling bag which is very nice too!!

Always love bronze and gold prints like this

Costs only S$20+ after 30% discount

Suan also got another 20% voucher. =D Oh the membership is for 2 years, fyi.

They gave us a catalog and I’m so lemming the new products already. Should be launched next year I think.

After these purchases, we went 40mins foot massage at 满足乐. Costs RM$30. Very relaxing till I fell asleep. =) They were very careful with our pedicure too. Lol.

Of course what’s a JB trip without a sumptuous seafood dinner/supper??!!! We popped opposite hawker for it. =)

Hiang Kee Restaurant

Yummy salted egg crayfish!!! Thank god for them for curing my phoebia(Damn you Peony Jade!!
) for crayfish because they’re so damn delicious.

Sambal stingray – slightly overcooked

排骨王 – Crispy and nice!

红烧豆腐 – OK

Including rice and some drinks, total came up to less than RM$30 per pax.

I always love JB trips!!

Kat went to pump petrol and washed car. While her car was being washed, we’re were’nt free either. We had sinful, oily lok-loks. =D

First to reach home. Feeling was great! I think only go JB then I will be the first to drop off. Lol. Thanks Kat!!

JB soon!!

What’s up tomorrow??

50% discount sales for mini.bits, minitoons and miniprincess!!

I’m more in mini.bits for their hair accessories!! Damn I bought quite many just few days ago.

Actual birthday post just opened to public.

You ask, why so gei-zua? Awhile password protected, awhile no protection.

Ask my hubby loh. Awhile like this, awhile like that. =P

Recent, daily, indulgence. HAHA.

Excuse chosen: I was at Raffles City and the pumps I was wearing was hurting me SO BADLY that I HAVE to buy another pair to change. =)
Isnt it gorgeous……

Excuse chosen: I was telling hubby…”as you know, it’s soOooO difficult for me to buy shoes because feet so small and finally I found a pair of platform wedges of my size to go with my maxi dresses!” It is super comfy and easy to walk. Serious.

Excuse chosen: “This is for work.” I stated matter-of-factly, shrugging. Shoes are perishable goods, my last pair of Heatwave heels is dying soon.
While I’m browsing this last pair…..
Dearie said, “erm honey, for your info lah hor, the shoe cabinet is full liao. Just, for your info lah you know~”

Muahahahah But there’s no stopping me!

Excuse chosen: I’m really crazy with wedges lately lah I admit but this is totally a MUST-HAVE! Where else can you find a strappy and full-of-character wedges of size 3?? It’s super comfy and easy to walk too. I’m so serious.

Causeway point John-little having massive clearance sale. L’oreal having 20%+20% off while most have 20% off. Be sure to check the manufacturing date though. =D

I love BV

As promised! Some of my shopping buys the day before. I dont usually take pics and post about them. Not only must they be great buys, I must also have the mood to snap them and post, which is very seldom because I’m so lazy. Haha.

I simply adore Bugis Village. They have the most IN stuff and at great/reasonable prices too! This time round, I dragged dearie to buy clothings too. =P

Pink stripes long-sleeved top

Simple top. Difficult to describe the colour, light-green beige?

The details

The above 2 are priced at 2 for $30. So cheap! The material is excellent, very soft and thin(but not flimsily-thin type), suitable to wear in Sg. Can always pull up to become 3 quart sleeve. They dont have a fitting room, I merely measured them against dearie’s shoulder. Thank god he looked wonderful in them. Smart and broad-shouldered and all. \(^o^)/

It’s not easy to buy clothings for dearie. H doesnt know what he looks good in so usually I will pick out some and let him choose. Hahaha.

Light denim shorts

I need one for my team-bonding games attire because we’re the ZOHANS!!!

Opps forgot to snap pic of the back of the shorts but both are pretty nice with buttoned pockets. Sibei sad. I wear L size. Boohoo! =( Tua Car-Cheng~ Oh they’re $18 each!!

Sweetie Tanks!! Each at $9. =D

小碎花! Hee!

篮苹果! Teehee!

大花痴. Hahaha.

The material is so soft. =)

I bought these 2 lovely belts at $10 each last time, together with 2 maxi dresses.

How can I miss buying my favorite…..BAGS right??!! Lol!

I used to adore such weaved-basket bags but was always wary of their uncomfortable handles which will hurt my shoulders. Finally I found 2 which are comfortable. =)

Lovely scarf ribbon at extra $4

I always prefer zipped bags for more security.

Comfortable straps

Smaller and weighs lighter. On days which I dont need to smuggle drinks into cinemas. Haha.

Scarf ribbon at $4.

Comfortable straps

Hmmm……I dont quite remember how much exactly I paid for each bag but I paid a total of around $68. The big one was probably $36 while the smaller one $32. Bought at one of the push carts in Bugis Junction.

I seldom buy things from Bugis Junction push carts because I can usually buy the same stuff at nearby Bugis village for less than half the price. However, these 2 bags have really good workmanship, the sales assistants are really not pushy and very polite too. Bad thing is, I probably cant untie the scarfs for other uses as I dont know how to tie them back, prettily. Hmmm….anyone know please teach me ok? =D

Oh yes yes!! Combing all the above purchases, together with my last 2 maxi dresses purchases, it’s 浪漫度假风出击!!

A simple casual one only lah. Keke. Btw, I really do recommend Mayuki Tokyo fashion, not bad.

Other matching accessories can be big-flower-hairclip(Rain wore it so well!), big staw hat(Joy carried it very well too!) and lacy hairbands with big curls. Hmm…all of the above are I either dont own them or I dont dare to wear them. Haha. A matching pair of cork wedges is in order. Damn….but I cant find my size ANYWHERE. Sad…..

Next up, my idol Coco is now the spokesperson for HANG TEN!! So of course must support right? Hee. 2 pieces for 30% off and 4 for 50% off! Including new arrivals too! I bought 2 jeans while dearie bought 2 tops. The latest range is really not bad, pretty youthful and trendy and not like the usual BOSSINI or GIORDANO etc. Take a look!

Loving the light purple embroidery!! And….

The gem gem button studs!

I like the cutting…and…

the white wash…and…

Again the gem gem studs! Heehee!

Actually we went Bugis Village again today!! As we didnt finished combing it through on friday. Dearie bought a pair of white casual covered shoes at $30 while I bought a pair of sandles at $20. Both at level 2 of Bugis Village. Dearie bought 2 pairs of slacks too at $32. I also bought 7 pairs of undies at $20. They’re so sweet and comfortable!! Too bad I cant show them here…but they’re really very kawaii! =D

Although BV has many cheap clothings… look out for the quality and stitches. It’s definitely possible to find gems among them. Do not be impulsive to buy anything that’s cheap. You’ll end up buying rubbish which is not comfortable or gets torn after washing.

Enjoy your shopping!

Purchases from Europe

Many friends , especially girls, have been asking me to post up stuff I bought. Funny lor, they’re more interested in seeing what I bought more than where we went. Haha. =.=””

Actually I didnt buy many things. Mostly because we only have very little shopping time there and seriously there’s really nothing much WORTH buying down there because everything is more expensive there after currency conversion. The only stuffs worth buying are the branded goods, as you know, they’re like 20-30% cheaper. I guess we’re lucky that we went there when Euros and Pounds are low. I had, however, utilized my “bags” quota for this year and next year.

Switz are famous for their Swiss-made watches, Swiss army knife and chocolates. However, because the watches are Swiss-made, they’re more expensive as all the parts used are of better quality and were assembled there rather than in Bangkok/China/Singapore. Unless you’re a collector or bloody rich, you probably wont buy. We only bought a few chocolates from there.

Paris, needless to say, is a heaven for designer goods. Basically almost every brand is cheaper there. Do note that MontBlanc is actually cheaper in Singapore Airports and Burberry is cheaper in London.

Initially I didnt intend to buy anything from LV because I didnt see anything I like from it’s webby nor Sg store. Moreover, I dont have enough time because we only have 3hours in Paris for shopping and much time was being spent shopping on hubby’s briefcase. MAN, can be so indecisive at times. ZzZz. While we’re waiting for the SA to get us dearie’s bags(he bought 2) and Kel’s Artsy MM, I spotted a woman browsing this design, Verona PM.

I thought it was not bad. I grew to love it because it’s in Damier Ebene Canvas as the beige leather parts for Monogram Canvas tend to “brown” after a period of usage. It can become real ugly. What’s best is, it can be carried as a shoulder bag as well as a top-handle bag.

I love it because

1) it’s limited edition
2) it’s vibrant orange
3) it’s gold chrome logo
4) it’s light-weight
5) it’s the perfect size

Have you any idea how heavy is the classic range of their Caviar/Nappa leather and calfskinned bags? One weighs like at least 1 kg with absolutely nothing in it. Certainly not for old folks like me whose frail shoulder gives pain if I carry too heavy stuff for long.

I realised their shops only display a very small range of bags. Mostly are being kept inside(dont know for what lor) and they only bring it out when you request for it. Perhaps we’re tourists, the bilingual SA(arranged to serve us) specially requested their staff to bring out the exclusive designs, hence we’re able to see them. Even then, it’s very limited. So dont bother surfing for their designs online before your Paris trip, you cant get them anyway. Blearh…I guess this is call “acting exclusive”. For Hermès Birkin bag, they wont even let you see the bag unless you spent at least twenty grand in their shop and being put in their VIP list first!

When I carried this orange fabric bag to meet my girlies, they cried “it’s so you!” in unison. Really meh? Haha. But I do love things with gold details, especially in chrome. I’m usually not a fan of bright colours but this orange really look fantastic(in my opinion). It’s only bad point is that it’s not easy to match. Perhaps only in full black etc. It’s okay though, I’m almost always in black. I love it’s size too. Most flap bags are pathetically small where you cant even bring along your powder for touch-ups but this is neither too big or too small. Suitable for night outs as well as dinners. It can fit a small wallet, key pouch, powder, lip gloss, blotters and handphone perfectly without looking bulky or anything. Practical, I’m still a very practical person. With taste of course. =P

Of course, how can I miss my fave Burberry when I’m in London? I bought this classic Haymarket check tote in London as a working bag as it’s not as loud as a C or LV. It’s light-weight and fits A4 size. After using it then I realised my previous stupid FION bag is so damn heavy(in comparison)! Seriously never realised it was heavy, maybe because I was blinded by it’s “beauty”. Haha.

Playful Nova heart bowling bag. So cute and sweet.

I was actually very disappointed with London’s Burberry’s collection. It was much smaller than Sg’s one. Each series came in only very limited designs. I meant to buy a Nova Check bag but didnt see any design I fancy. Sad.

Bought 2 items from SQ Krisflyer shop. As much as their service sucks, they carry a few exclusive and pretty fantastic items!

MontBlanc chunky necklace with rotating pendant.

This side is the mother-of-pearl

This side is silver

Love it. You have to buy it from SQ Kris shop as they owned it exclusively. So they’re not available in the boutiques.

Shu Uemura make-up palette, again, only available through Kris shop

It’s very worth it, in my opinion as it comes with a full size blusher, 4 mini eyeshadows, 1 cream eye-liner, 1 highlighter coupled with brushes.

Lovely colours

Bought from London airport. I’m glad as it’s cheaper than Paris!

éclat perfume from the perfume gallery in Paris

Bangle from Claire’s, in Switz.

Another palette from Claire’s, in Switz

DKNY bangle watch from Paris.

I had the silver one already but never saw the gold one in Sg. It is slighter cheaper than SG price after the rebates

That’s all. Bought a few dresses/tops/skirt from H.M in Switz, that’s about it. I always worry that I might regret the things I bought since they’re not cheap but I’m glad that I didnt regret abit. They’re so much cheaper than their normal SG prices and most are exclusive and unique in their own ways. I would say my fave among these favourites are the C bag, MB necklace and Shu-E palette, maybe mostly because they’re exclusive. =D

I hereby swear that I wont buy any bags/make-up palettes/perfumes for this year and next year! If you see me wanting to buy, please stop me!

Lastly, 2 reluctant purchases when I’m back in Sg, just because my camera and phone are spoilt. Sigh.

Okie. I’m broke now. You happy.

Oh by the way, 2 of my bags are pressies from dearie. Isnt that so sweet of him? =D

Thanks dear for the wonderful honeymoon. *SMUACKS*
