Out of a sudden, I was feeling lethargic and hopeless when I cant seem to find any fitting shoes lately. I haven buy any shoes for the past..like 2 months? Anyway it feels very long. And my fingers just wandered to Google and I had a search on “size 3 shoes”. I was hoping to find, for god’s sake, any online foreign stores which carry tiny sizes.

I was truly ecstatic to find not 1, but few sites yelling that they’re proud to carry stylishly-designed petite shoes ranging from size 1 to 3. I almost fainted when I saw their supposedly “stylish” designs. Clearly, our fashion sense did not hit even a single similar note. Some slightly decent, normal ones(not even close to “nice” okie) are priced sky-rocket high at 80pounds. Over $200 for a pair of non-branded shoes. They must be crazy.

ANYWAY, while I’m there, I also browse their size chart which shows the different sizing for different makes of shoes so that in case I’m interested in any shoes of other sites, I know which size to look out for. There are Europe, U.K, Korea, Japan sizing etc.

I promptly measured my feet before I started to locate my sizing accordingly on the big-ass chart.

8 inches. Around 20cm.

Where the hell is my size????

And when I cruised upon http://www.onlineconversion.com/clothing_shoes_womens.htm, again, I failed to locate “8 inch”. The minimum in the online conversion table was 9 inch, 22.8cm.

But GOD did not forsake me. I finally found my shoe size! Oh my god, this feels like machiam I just found my own heritage like that! Damn kuku~

At http://www.piccoloshoes.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewDoc&docId=6,

Surprise! I wasnt really the size 3 I always thought I was. That explains why there’s always some allowance with the size 3 slip-on heels which I bought AND why I can NEVER fit into size 3 pumps and covered shoes BECAUSE I AINT A SIZE 3 AT ALL!!!!

I’m a disgusting size 2.5!!! Can you imagine that??? If only some magical thing can be done like how I can sell this pair of dainty feet away at e.g, 3 million pounds and then exchange for a set at no pain of more conventional sizing, like 5 or 6.

Yeah dream on. Why I’m so like that? Some people got bad hair can go rebonding. Some people got wrinkles can go inject botox. Some people fat can do liposuction. I just cant do anything with my height and tiny feet(no recognized medical advancement has declared yet). They’re my 2 biggest handicaps, while I still can live with my bad hair and complexion.

Life is so unfair.

If you think I’m overreacting, okie, maybe abit, but really, 很难买鞋leh. I almost went crazy when I tried to find my wedding shoes. And now I cant find anything suitable for my evening gown and cheongsum because too few choices.

And guess what, I’m now searching online for any kid’s gloves lors, satin white ones to match my wedding gown. Because my fingers are probably too short and palm too small to fit into adult’s gloves AND DONT LAUGH LAH!!

Though dearie was probably overjoyed that I have small feet. Else I will probably fill up the whole house and not the shoe cabinet alone, with shoes.

Maybe GOD knows that. That’s why he deliberately gives me tiny feet.

“So that you cant buy so many shoes”

I can almost imagine him guffawing away.

Die already

There is a 99% chance that I will fail my exam. Sigh. Not trying to find excuses but I really feel I’m damn suay. All those which I’ve studied according to tutor’s tips and my hunch didnt came out in the exam at all. BUT all those which I skipped, came out like nobody’s business.

Usually it should be 50% of calculations, but this time round, around 30% only and all were very tough. I was mentally cursing and swearing at the world-class a**hole who set the paper. Because whoever set the paper was trying to be difficult. Why? Because not only the “usuals” are not tested, all the weird weird unimportant stuff came out. You might have guessed I kinda skipped those. The phonebook-thick notes are no joke.

It doesnt make sense. The setter damn well knows people who took this exam are mainly from the financial industry or insurance business. I just cant get it there was NOT EVEN 1 question regarding about insurance. And only around 5 questions out of the 95 are about FV and PV(future and present values) of bonds or needs analysis which should be of core important in finance and insurance. Instead, questions about partnerships la, joint-tenancy agreements, bankruptcy came out. WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT BANKRUPTCY???

I’m still alittle pissed while speaking of it. Hng! I’m bad enough with the dry theory already, I was pinning my hopes on the calculations questions. And because this particular turtle is trying to be special huh, by setting a paper unlike the previous years, there goes my chance of getting a pass.

The only minor consolation I had was, when I came out of the exam hall, I saw nobody smiling. I saw my classmates and we started to complain on how tough the paper was. Thank god I’m not the only one.

Actually I’m quite calm after the exam already, just abit sian. Just that speaking of it makes me annoyed. I’m not the kind who cries over split milk. Dont wish to think too much for 2 months till results come. I think I deserve my rest in any case.

Dearie was so sweet to drive me for the exam and accompanied me for breakfast before he brought client for medical examination. He then loittered for 2 hours till my exam ended to meet me.

I’m really cham lah. I also suffered coldsore while studying, perhaps of the stress. Despite so, we shopped awhile at TB Plaza since it’s so near my exam venue. And PEPPERPLUS got a sale! Mostly going at $20 and $30. My pupils must have enlarged dramatically as I felt the designs were really not bad! Hard to find decent stuff in Sg already. Hence I grabbed a handful of them and dashed into the changing room. Didnt want dearie to wait so long. My loots were 3 skirts, 2 dresses and 1 top, totalling $130–> Another membership card earned. Dearie paid them for me as gifts, hoping to cheer me up. Aint that sweet? =)

So anyone who wants PEPPERPLUS clothes can jio me liao, additional 15% off.

We then caught a movie but I was really tired midway and I kinda dozed off awhile, not that the movie’s fantastic anyway. =P I seldom like this okie, but I really didnt sleep much the previous night.

Movie title: 12 rounds
Rating: 2.5/5
Comments: I really dont find it thrilling at all, despite their efforts. I dont know whether should I blame the cast or the one in charge of effects. Dearie also agreed with me. Perhaps it’s both.

I’m supposed to bath Vickki today but I guessed I have to do it tomorrow already. Because I spent 2 days to clear my wardrobe. They’re bursting, or rather, had already burst. =P Had to dump some away which are in perfect condition but which had lost my favor. Haha. Today went Capio there to fit my gowns too. They are gorgeous. Love them. =D Spent 2+ hours for the fitting and choosing of gowns, as well as some discussion.

On the other hand, dearie lamented why his fitting took less than 5 minutes. Lol. Deadbeat. Walked around IMM for dearie’s shirts for the photoshoot but didnt get to see nice ones. Perhaps have to visit Raoul again. I hate to buy their overpriced stuff but it seems they’re the only shop which sells more stylish and classy stuff. G2000 is oh-so-contemporary-and-boring.

Tomorrow still got morning meeting and I got to accompany Mummy to Starhaven to do creative eyebrow embroidery too cum my IPL treatments.

Oh boyyyyyyyy………..I’m dying of fatigue!

Junky Post

My sat was so burnt. Lessons from 9am-6pm. 100% saturated, hardcore financial lessons which caught me breathless. Thank god the trainer had substance. His way of teaching is unlike any other tom, dick and harry.

Instead of the countless powerpoint slides and instructing the students to memorize financial formulas, he actually did lots of mind-mapping, graphs, pictures and “story-telling” which makes the context so much easier to understand. Before today’s lesson, I dont have much confidence to pass the exam. After today, it certainly motivates me alot and makes the remaining 10 chapters look much appealing and approachable!

The thicker-than-phonebook notes are no joke okie!

This 2 and a half days course was somehow arranged and emailed to me(and cc to many GE planners too) for participation by a planner in GE. But somehow, after paying $268(ouch) for the course, I SAW NOBODY from GE today at 9am. Although I dont know them and dont expect to really sit together with them, it was a tad ridiculous that the person who has enthusiastically encouraged me to take up the course at a premium via the email personally, DID NOT EVEN GO HERSELF after assuring me 6 of them has taken up. What the fiak?

Anyway, thank god I feel the course is definitely worth it. Although it burns my 3 Saturdays consecutively and indirectly, my Fridays since I got to wake up at a ungodly hour of 7+am the following mornings. Though thinking back, like quite a tad expensive huh. It’s like approximately $107 for a day’s lesson. Ah, the trainer’s name is Daniel, heard he’s pretty popular around. And he’s confident and proud of that, in a comical manner. But nobody finds him arrogant at all, for he really has SUBSTANCE and also quite funny. Really, he makes everything so easy to understand and to remember. By the way, I feel he looks like my FIL. HAHA!

Was totally steammmmmed after the lessons but still took the train home. While I was about to take a seat, 1 malay lady stretched her 5 fatty fingers on the seat and disallowed it. (=.=)””’ She wanted the seat for her hubby. I began to back away, only to see a woman carrying a baby coming beside me. She had also came forward seeing the empty seat from afar, but not the fatty fingers until she came near. While the malay woman was waving MADLY to her husband to come and take the seat, I was thinking…wah piangz….she thinks this is library meh, can book seats like that? And the lady carrying the baby certainly needs the seat more than both of them, yet she hogged the seat as if it is made of gold.

So where was the husband? He was obviously super embarrassed by his wife’s actions and refused to take the seat lah, standing far far away, as if scared people know that is his wife. =P He also signaled to the lady with the baby to go ahead to take the seat. However, his wife continued to place her fat fingers there. *faint* The Chinese lady then waved her hands mildly with an embarrassed smile too to say that it’s okie, she can stand.

And you know what? The malay women started to wave MADLY to ANOTHER malay obasan(probably her sister or something) to come and take the seat.

Actually they werent interested to take the seat at all lor if not for her intense urging. After few stops, they alighted. ZzZz

Lately kept bumping into weird people which which…makes you wonder why they’re like that?

Few weeks ago I was at Cityhall mrt and a teenager came up to me and asked whether I can donate to whatever foundation or something. I’m always game for a donation if I’m convenient at the moment. Not as if I donate ALOT lah, but 积少成多mah.

Then, while I’m trying to take money from my wallet then he asked me whether I’m a student. I mumbled a “no” and continued to find my wallet amidst the junks in my tote bag, ONLY TO HEAR HIM SAY, “THEN NEVERMIND THANK YOU!!” And he walked away.

What the fiak???

Not student cannot donate???

*breathe deeply*

There I was standing like an idiot gaping after him with the wallet finally in my hands. I had to dump it back into my bag and try to look less stupid instead by making myself busy on the phone.

Mummy saw dearie’s brows and said it’s nice too. I asked her whether she wanna do it too. If so, I bring her go, cum pay for her. But because she embroidered her eyebrow before with colour so still not sure whether she can do the creative eyebrow embroidery. Some said it’s essential to “remove” the existing colour before it can be done. See how.

Dont think we will be going Batam after all seeing our tight schedules as well as my tight budget after splurging on IPL. Women’s money to easy to earn. =P Shall save more instead. Anyway I checked the Batam rates, also not very attractive leh. And the agencies also didnt bother to call me up after I’ve emailed them. Then forget it loh. Although I’m lemming for Hongkong and Taiwan, really. Because the stuff bought from HK and Macau the last trip were awesome. Like the foamy cleanser from their SASA is only about $8 and works great. Aiya, should have bought more. The pineapple tarts too…….

Okie. If I pass my exam with flying colours, I will reward myself in April! =P
