Alv & Cat’s Wedding Lunch at Four Seasons

It was Alv & Cat’s Big Day! The cozy and meaningful event was held at Four Seasons Hotel at 11.30am. I was so glad that I wasnt late. From the previous entry, I reached home at 4.30am but still wasnt able to sleep. Eventually, I only slept 5 hours, and arrived as a panda at the wedding luncheon. (=.=)””

Dearie was up early at 7am as he’s Xiong Di of Alv. I’ll let the pictures do all the talking. =) Spent me quite some time okie~ =P

My favorite has got to be the Soon Hock fish. The best I’ve ever eaten. Totally no “muddy” smell, not too soft like toufu and not too tough. Just the perfect texture and soy sauce taste. Of course, also the jumbo QQ prawns as well as aloe vera dessert!

Summer’s 4th Birthday + Happy Mother’s Day

Ahh….I have so many overdue events to update.

One at a time!

8th May 2011

It’s Summer’s 4th birthday as well as my long-lost meet with Hanni, whom I haven seen for the last 10 years!! We’ve been in contact in facebook and I miss the babe ever since she left for Aussie and then subsequently, U.S, 10 years ago. Her hubby is a Caucasian, love her to bits and they produced 2 charming kids, Summer and Scott. The party was pretty crowded so I didnt really take many pictures. So glad to meet Ash too who’s staying in the same condo, whom I haven seen for quite a while too. And no joke, both of them still looked as hot as they always do, despite with no make-up!

Isnt she the most adorable and sweetest creature on earth?

Summer is like a breath of fresh air whom you cant help loving no matter how much kids might not be your cup of tea. If I ever have a baby daughter like her, I’m sure she will be my sunshine everyday I woke up. =) If you’re still having the burning question as to when I’ll have a baby, “the answer is “no, no yet”. =)

Happy Birthday Summer!!

The 3 of us chatted for awhile and said about meeting up for another drink soon before I left to meet Mummy for dinner as it’s Mother’s Day too.

Happy Mother’s Day, my dearest and greatest mummy in the world. I got her 2 pairs of earrings and I really hope she likes it. Actually, seriously, I’ve already run out of ideas on what to give her. Her favorite colour is purple. =)

Earrings from Kaori’s Creations, of course. =)

Blossoms of Love

Violet Dreams – wearable in 2 ways

Hope she likes it. =)

We had our dinner at West Mall, Swensen, which is Mummy’s favorite. I wished to let her try Mayim Cuisine but the queue was simply horrible. Nevertheless, we waited for a prettttty long time before the dishes arrived. Ahh….they’re not really worth a mention and seriously disappoints me because I’ve always feel Swensen’s dishes have a minimum standard. Anyway, at least we enjoyed the Earthquake(icecream). Keke!

It has been ages since I took photos with Mummy. And seriously, after I got my hair cut quite horribly, I’ve been shunning the camera like a plague. =S However, it’s Mother’s Day! So pictures it is!

Love you much Mummy and I wish you the pink of health, stay happy and beautiful always. =D

We shopped around in West Mall and I spotted a lovely oil burner at a pushcart!!

It’s love at first sight.

Love the artsy paintings on the uniquely-shaped burner. It reminds me of a light house. =) Was kinda worried that it will be overly expensive. I inquired the price of a simple burner before, one with at least 3-4 hours capacity and it was a freaking $49.90!

I also love it that the tray is removable. That will probably decrease the chance of clumsy me breaking it while carrying it to and fro. Erm, I broke the last one we bought from Bali. =(

Taken by iphone via Instagram

Oh And it’s only $25! =D

Now it’s sitting on our newly bought side table from Seahorse. =)

Love it! Matches the bed perfectly! Love the deep deep drawers too! I love storage anywhere, anytime.

Actually we ran a few places to find a suitable side table but it’s not easy because room runs Victorian style. I cant believe we found the perfect one at Seahorse while shopping at Causeway Point and it’s around $200 only! Like less than half price of our “old” side table. (=.=)”’

What happens to the “old” side table?

It’s main purpose is to hold the Avante Humidifier. It’s also appropriate else the bedroom look abit empty at this side.

Reviews of Avante Humidifier
There’s a knob to adjust level of humidity. I much prefer the highest for my dry skin but water really gets depleted really quickly, like 2 days. I know it’s probably much longer than those little humidifier which only lasted hours. But it’s troublesome to refill the large tub of water la…so I reduce the level..so that the water can last around 3days or so.

Strictly no oil-based aromatherapy, it will get it stucked. Only water-based can be used. So far so good. It’s $88, pretty economical for it’s large capacity I supposed. =)

Vivienne’s Baby Shower

It seems like a dream. It felt as if I’ve attended Christine’s wedding not long ago and pop, here comes the cutie baby, Vivienne! Time really flies, dont you think?

Love this pic! So sweet!!

:

:

Vivi with dear grandpapa(I think)

:

Was craving for my turn to carry sweet Vivi and snap pictures but she started crying. =( It wasnt then Chris told me she’s suffering from colic. =( It’s not a serious condition lah, but just persistent crying for no discernible reason. I can just imagine how 心痛 Chris might be because of the need to give Vivi medicine at such a tender age. Cel too….when she spoke of the blood tests which her dear Brissha had when she’s newly born…..I can clearly feel the nobility of all mother love. No worries though, Brissha is very healthy now. Vivi’s also gotten better, thanks to the specialist at Thomson. From what Chris said, the other GP doctors consult are mediocre. Hmm….I shall take note.

With another 2 mummies by my side, Cel and Jovi, they began to share meaningful and heart-melting stories in the course of their pregnancy. I’ve learned so much more about breast-feeding now, keke, but still, rather distressed…erm no, disturbed, by some of the..out-of-the-norm stuff…which involves…bleeding and pain… Okie, I shall stop here lest I scare some mummies out from their decision to breast-feed. But it’s all so heart-warming you know. The guys will never understand. Breast-feeding is also not as simple as you think.

We chatted for quite a long while, while waiting for Sean to finish his mahjiong. We then adjourned to Jov’s house for more mahjiong. Pengz! Haha. It’s my first time playing shooter style(5/1 stakes). Kinda nervous but actually, it’s not as frightening as I thought. It’s pretty hassle free lah because rather than every round having the need to open your drawer at least once or twice, because of win/lose, flower/animal bite or 杠(4-of-a-kind), now you hardly open because even 杠 is shooter style. Woah! That really depends on your luck already seriously. I’m still not accustomed to it. Everytime someone let another someone 杠, I will still open my drawer. (=.=)”” Until Sean said, “We play hor, open drawer means need to pay liao.” ZZzZzzZ

It’s actually less tiring, less hassle and perhaps in a way, fairer bah. I can dont open my drawer for like 3 consecutive rounds, as if no win no lose. ZzZz. Machaim playing free games. Haha. But seriously…if you’re really down on luck, shooter style is really not advisable. But again, if one is really down on luck, do what also lagi suay…just like when I’m down on luck, wait 20minutes for cab also no use. And when I finally got one, the driver is like a direction idiot just like me. Bleh~

Ok, overall, lucky smalllll win of $30. Hmm…I seldom shoot lah, usually 1 or 2 dai only. Initially I won double but because Jack 哥 keep 自摸 and there’s a few 暗杠, so decrease the winnings. Anyway, 开心就好. Heez!

Yay! I survived through my virgin shooter-style mahjiong. Lol.

Meagan’s Baby Shower

Last Sunday was darling Princess Meagan’s baby shower! It was such a joyous event and the whole house was so crowded. =) Congratulations to Rem and Eil on their first new born! Many more to come ya! Hahaha!

The next Megan Fox okie! Dont pray pray. =P

See the proud daddy and mummy? =) Just a few pictures with some dear colleagues(too many to name). Ehhh, just realised dear Angie not in the pics. Ahhh~ The angel is tying the knot very soon too. So happy for her. =D

Hate my puffy face. Whenever I dont have enough sleep or rather, even when I have enough sleep, I’ll just have puffy face and eyes when I woke up. It wont be few hours later until the puffiness go away. Argghh! I’ll have another baby shower just tomorrow and it’s 1pm at BEDOK. I can just imagine my face will be as swollen as a pig~

Hubby made me irritated. No mood to blog. That’s about it. Till the next entry.

Jess & James Solemnization/Wedding Lunch @ Raffles Town Club

It was Jess & James Big day!!! Attended the event with joy as well as apprehension, because you know why? While I was very very happy for the lovely couple, I was also appointed the emcee with 24hours notice because Jess’s friend put her aeroplane at the last minute. I really dontttttt understand why people can be like that. (=.=)”””’

“Dont you have a better choice???” I asked Jess in exasperation after her SMS. Because while I’m very willing to help her the most I can, I really cant do a perfect job because I’ve never been an emcee before and I’m soOooO terrified that I’ll jeopardize their BIG DAY! I guess it’s difficult to get help at such notice… =(  So yeah, I was the emcee. =/

Immediately after the notice, I dug my lappy for the old emcee script for my own wedding(dinner). But hor, da match leh. Because it’s just very different! And I havent the foggiest idea what to say. I could only do the least by reaching earlier to discuss with the bride and coordinator, Cindy. Erm, in any case, I’m glad everything went smoothly. =P

It was my first time attending a solemnization/wedding lunch at Raffles Town Club and I was so impressed and awed by the splendor of the decor. Everything, just everything was purrrrfffect!! Really! The venue decor, the food, the service, wedding favors, right down to the feather pens, every little or big thing was simply heart-warming and tastefully arranged. I’ll let the pictures tell the story. Spent quite some time organizing them. =P

.

At reception.

.

The opulent entrance

.

.

.

Absolutely stunning bride! It’s my first time seeing Jess with makeup. Lol.

She has always been a natural beauty and even more so ravishing with her beauty enhanced by make-up. =)

Okie. I know I look fat with my mushroom hair(top and bottom different colours, lol) =P

.

The solemnizer, Mr David Ong did a fantastic job. Should have asked him to double as emcee instead of me la. A dignified-looking man of forties or so, impeccably dressed. I say, he’s a good choice for people who are very concerned with aesthetically pleasing solemnization pictures and well-executed solemnization. =P

When he appeared punctually at the reception, the receptionists asked him whether he’s a friend of Jess or James. One look at him and I concluded he’s the Justice Of Peace. He simply got the “JP look”. Muahahaha. And I said it out loud.

“And I suppose you’re a pop singer?” He asked me back.

I almost fainted at the outrageous assumption. ZzZzz

“No! I’m the last minute appointed emcee. ” I corrected him after recollecting my shock.

“You should join Star Search or something, dont she?” He looked to James for affirmation.

Both of us smiled awkwardly and unnaturally at each other for the ridiculous notion. ZzZzZzZz. That image was so simply so funny, like we’re both forced to smile at something so nonsensical. (=.=)””’

This is pretty bad. So I appeal to old men? Jialat. Hmm….or maybe he should have his glasses checked. Muahahahaha.

.

After the solemnization, we adjourned to The Dining Room for our sumptuous and delicious lunch!

.

Pianist playing in the background….so coolz! =D

.

Now….the food!! It’s my first time having a fine-dining wedding lunch/dinner! Just imagine my delight!

.

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!! They simply tasted as divine as they looked!

And this is just the appetizers!! =D

The superb service by RTC staff were commendable too!

.

I chose Lamb for my main instead of Chicken. What can I say? Did you see the perfect pink? =)

.

.

By this time….I was simply so full….that I simply cant stomach all of them…

Not a connoisseur of cheese, the dish was left untouched. Oops!

The ice-cream was wonderful though! It tasted exactly like Rum & Raisin and I’m pretty sure it’s not vanilla! Anyway, it’s okie because Rum & Raisin is my favorite. =D

.

The sorbet was served before the main course.

Cute lollipop given by Jess! It was actually from her “lollipop” bouquet! So cute!

.

Personalized wedding favors!

.

No time to catch picture with the groom, just like all weddings, everyoneeeee were vying to snap pictures with the couple. And I couldnt wait because dearie arrived to pick me. Oh well~

It was a very sweet and heart-warming solemnization and I wish Jess and James an eternal and blissful marriage ever after!! =D

Reminiscence of dearie’s proposal & our 1st Tokyo trip!

Currently watching 鱼跃在花见 on Funshion. Aiyo, I almost cough blood. Myolie is really irritating in the show, as in, her role. I definitely dont mean she’s irritating on a personal level. She always struck me as a very smart and humble lady. =)

The show is really a gastronomic adventure for Japanese cuisine lovers like me. Especially sashimi…..slurps! A gentle warning though, dont watch it with an empty stomach. It’s funny actually. Our Japan trip is finally confirmed on 7th-11th April and this show serves as a wonderful “appetizer”. I’m so looking forward to the trip. Will probably meet up with L in Tokyo if nothing goes wrong and I’m excited about her showing me all the shopping paradise and splendid Japanese sashimi!

To reminisce our previous Japan trip(half work/play, MDRT experience), below is an entry(not in full) copied from my previous blog. It served as a very sweet memory because dearie proposed during our 1st Japan trip. =)  Thus making this 2nd trip all the more meaningful now that we’re back re-visiting after 2 years of marriage. =) Oh it’s even the same season too, around APRIL with the sakura blossoms. Hope we can catch them though. Notice any difference in us? Definitely a difference in dearie. He gained more weight and looked more handsomeeeeee now huh. Haha. I definitely aged. =(  However, the pictures simply stirred my heart warmly. =D

Konichiwa Japan

Hi Guys Im back!

I had mixed feelings yesterday when I reached Narita Airport for departure back home. I mean, it feels good to be back home where I can UNDERSTAND what people are talking and not looking like an idiot when 1 Jap after another mumbled a long string of Japanese to me without me understanding a single syllabus. On the other hand, it means the end of my holiday, unable to shop anymore, and back to the hard, cruel, realistic Singapore, where the lousiest customer service exists.

We flew by Northwest Airlines, flight at 6am on 10th April. Few hours before we left home, we were still packing our suitcases. Haha. Reached Changi Airport at 3.20am(as usual, dearie is very prudent) where we had..supper? Then we proceeded to check in at 4am. Northwest serves nice cabin meals, if you want to know, service pretty good also. Online booking flights within 24hrs can be done but make sure name is keyed correctly. They charged a US$10 for edit of wrong name on e-tickets.

Snoozed in the plane of course. When I woke up, dearie was nowhere to be seen. Before I even have the foggiest idea on what was happening, the crew announced, “Here is a special message dedicated to Fion….”

(-_-)”’

There came dearie’s singing…

明天我要嫁给你了
明天我要嫁给你了
要不是每天的交通都
烦扰着我所有的梦
明天我要嫁给你了
明天我要嫁给你了
要不是你问我
要不是你劝我
要不是适当的时候
你让我心动

“Dear ah! 我愿意用我的一生去爱你,去保护你,去照顾你,你原意嫁给我吗”

**********Applauses************

*blushed*

Finally he came towards me and grabbed the ring box on my food tray(geez I so disoriented that I didnt even realize it’s there) and proposed again after opening the ring box right there with the whole plane passengers looking on!

:

:

:

What else can I say but yes? Keke *blush blush*

********Applauses again********

Im very very surprised! Even though I expected a proposal coming in Japan but I never expected in this way! Again, he never fail to give me surprises. He reckoned I would never have expected it’s in the plane before we even reach Japan. Many colleagues congratulated me as well as acquaintances from my company taking the same place. So nice of them.

There was this male colleague, who offered a handshake after congratulating me, added, “Congrats! You’re not left on the shelf. Haha”

I couldnt quite get his joke as I feel getting married at age 25 is considered early already. For the past me, I will never get committed at this age. Hello! This is Singapore, not India lo. I must have looked damn perplexed. But I guess it’s considered pretty normal for me bah for mean remarks to come now and then because Im mean to people I dont like now and then too. Lol. Lalala. Who cares, so long so Im happy with the one I love. =)

(P/S Hmm….this goes to prove I’m really one who forgives and forget, because 2 years down the road now in 2011, I really cant recall who is this colleague! Haha. =)

Oh ya. For this trip, I dont know why many of the pictures turned out blurry even though they looked okay in the camera. =( So many cant post up. Anyway, cant post too much otherwise will take very long to load.

:

Reached Narita Airport in Tokyo at around 1+pm, app. 6 hours flight.

Upon reaching, I realised I forgotten to put in my memory card in my camera. How dumb can I get? Must be because I wanna delete off pictures in the card to have more memory and I left it in my laptop by mistake. I was so so sad. I deleted all pictures in my internal memory in order to take more pictures but the max they can store is around 10+. =( Many colleagues offered their SD cards but they’re all not compatible. Damn Sony for being so exclusive. Finally, after searching all his various memory cards, Larry came up with one 1GB SOny Memory stick! I was so grateful that I can kiss him on both cheeks!

:

Toyoko-Inn at Chiba. The room is small, but cosy and impossibly clean.

:

Quite the smallest toilet I’ve ever seen in hotels, however, still pretty equipped

.

As you would have known, accommodation is super expensive in Japan. Our room costs app. S$177 per day, shared by me and dearie. So for 5 days, its S$885 for both of us. Actually on day 4, we shifted to Toyoko-Inn at Shinjuku, still the same hotel but different branch so it looks totally the same. The only draw back would be the tv channels I reckon. They’re showing the same shows everyday! At least for the 5 days that we are there. Since we dont understand Jap shows, its “Ocean Thirteen” and “No Reservations” everyyyydayyyy. Thank god I like Catherine Zeta-Jones in “No Reservations”.

Day 1
By the time we settled down everything, dinner all that, cum traveling via walk+train, its around 7+pm when we reached Disney Sea. Traveling took alot of time. We didnt take cab because their cab fares have killer rates. Its around few hundred S$ for a journey of around 30minutes.

.

So cute. The train to Disney Sea was damm cute with mickey-mouse-shaped handles and windows.

.

Dearie and Larry acting cute.

.

Admission ticket costed S$44(3100yen). By the way, S$1=70yen. Good thing was that although the admission ticket was expensive, all the rides inside were free for you to take, so there’s no extra hidden costs.

.

.

.

Its Spring carnival and Disney Sea’s 25th Anniversary Eve! And they had celebrations with fireworks.

.

.

.

This view was totally enchanting. It’s as good or else better than what the camera captured.

.

Does this reminds you of Shakespeare’s Merchant In Venice or Midsummer Night’s Dream? It’s so Venetian style and romantic. Dearie and me took the Vienna Gondolas boat ride in the quay. Did I mentioned its raining at that time? Haha

.

Lovely splendor inside the gift shops

.

Their so-called House of Terror.

Dearie and me can never forget this. Eil, WJ and Larry enthusiastically encouraged us to go play it. “Its very very fun!” They echoed together.

We strolled in, to find a Japanese girl giving a story telling session beside a small statue which looked like those native african statues, hinting of mysterious power and magic. As we dont understand Jap, I can only guess the haunted story is about this statue which possessed evil power which subsequently lead to the death of somebody via accident in a elevator, as depicted by the outside of the haunted building.

After that ended, we went through a door where there’s another session of story-telling, which again we dont understand a single word. After which, we were being leaded up a staircase and told to take one of the seats in one which looked like a small theater. I thought its another story telling session again..before uneasiness crept into me when I saw seatbelts attached to the seats.

WHY MUST NEED SEAT BELTS???!!!

I was feeling very very eerie and suspicious already and felt like leaving the mini “theater” no matter how dearie might laugh at me for being such a chicken. But, he said, just wait and see. Okie. After the jap girl mumbled something; “&^$@#$%^&*$%^&, SAYONARA!”, suddenly a door jammed shut, closing the entire “mini theater”!!! Lights went off and it was so dark that I cant even see my fingers!!

Siao liao this time. I thought to myself. Okie nvm…then a small 3D screen appeared infront of us, just like a theater, albeit, the laser images projected were so 3D that they looked so real. Heng ah…so there’s another show being shown right here, just that its secluded and closed up, I thought. It showed a man being somehow cursed by the statue and disappeared. The statue disappeared shortly after too after its spine-chilling laughter.

Suddenly, the whole “mini theater” began to vibrate!! And it began to move violently!! Dearie still trying to console the frantic me, “Dont scared dont scared”. Then it began to descend slowly…before it shot up in lightning speed to the highest level of the building where we can clearly see the skies and outside! It stayed stagnant for 1 second before it plunged without a warning and hanged in mid air. Hovering for that 1 deadly second again, until it finally plunged full force downwards right to the ground!!

I tell you, I think dearie screamed even louder than me. =.=”” Or rather, we both screamed as if there’s no tomorrow. And its very embarrassing. Lol. Finally the door opened…and we staggered out on legs which felt like jelly.

We OLD already!! Cant take this kinda shock one!!

Day 2
We woke up early and departed to Makuhari Messe to register for our MDRT experience convention. Then, we went Meiji Shrine temple. Its very special such that we have to walk a very very very long way inside by foot then we can reach the temple. Its totally unaccessible by cars nor bicycles. I guessed it showed the sincerity. Unlike chinese Buddhist temples, there were no statue inside. Jap gods, I think there’s only some sort of amulet. It was fully blocked out to the common public and we were made to pray in like, 30m away. The whole group of us exited by the wrong exit and made a large detour back. My legs almost broke. We had dinner hurriedly and walked another few miles to shop a while at Harajuku, where burberry shop already closed. So disappointed.

Day 3
Seminar started as early as 9am. Ended around 5pm.

.

.

.

After which, Larry, dearie and me left separately for Ueno Park while the others went shopping at the cheap electronics first before they joined us later. We dont have any electronics to buy so we skipped that. We didnt regret. We have extra 1 and half hours to catch some nice pics at Tokyo Ueno-onshi-koen Park where there were still some full-blown sakura trees! We thought we’re unable to catch it since its already mid april.

.

.

.

.

This is not cherry blossoms(I think), but I love them more! I think they’re prettier. Currently checking on their identity. Looks like peony though.

After the others arrived, we shopped 1 and half hours more at Ueno Hirokoji, where we bought lotsa foodstuff. Most are guys’ stuff actually.

At night, we went and attended the special dinner which company arranged for us. The food was scarce and so-so but got free flow beer and sakae. The crowd went crazy. Stupid david borrowed my camera to take videos.

They kept force Andy and Gerrard to drink until they buay tahan. Lol. We had so much fun.

.

Andy and Gerrard so seh. Lol

Day 4
Seminar again. Then We shifted to Toyoko-Inn at Shinjuku and did shopping there. That’s where I bought our burberry blue labels and some clothes.

.

My Burberry buys

Day 5
Went Asakusa Kannon Temple at Asakusa, Lei Men. And shopped at Nakamise Shopping street where alot of traditional foodstuff were sold. After that, we went Ginza, shibuya, 109 building for more shopping. The shops closed as early at 8pm. What the fish manz.

.

.

Day 6
Around 4 hours to shop only as we’re preparing to depart already. Walked around in Shinjuku, lovely shopping there where I bought my best buys. Some went back to Ginza to buy somemore Burberry’s blue label. Haha.

In Japan, everything is so expensive. Things were at least doubly expensive, or else triple or even 10times more.

Clothings cost approximately around S$70 or more. That’s the normal pricing. For slightly better clothes, they can easily reach 10,000yen or more, meaning $140+. Honeydew costs around S$50 each, and watermelons S$70 each. Crazy! The cheapest meal of udon, via ticketing using vending machines and then redeeming it at the counter, will costs around 400yen which is around S$5.70. For slightly better meals, they will cost around S$14. Presentable foodstuff usually costs 800yen, 1000yen or more, which are more and S$10+. Their transportation single trip train tickets costs around S$4+ per trip on the average. Their Daiso stores sell good quality economic stuff, each costs S$1.50

Okie so what are cheaper there?

1) Burberry blue label
Only exclusive there, and cheaper than normal Burberry label.
2) Fake Eyelashes
3) Diamantes
4) Fancl

THAT’S ALLLLLLLLL!!!!!!

*Skipped pictures of my shopping*

Awwwwww~ Cant wait to relive all of these!! =D

Happy 2011 Valentines!

Happy 2011 Valentines Everyone!! =D

13th Feb 2011

I was wrong in guessing the hotel which dearie booked. It wasnt Intercontinetal or Park Regis, but Fullerton, the hotel which we celebrated our 1st 2 Valentines. =) It came as a warm surprise, although highly anticipated when dearie drove towards One Fullerton. Very suspicious. =P Actually women’s 6th sense is very accurate. So dont try to challenge it. =P

It was a sweet reminiscence as I recalled our 1st Valentines. We were still such a fresh couple of merely a month old. All those fluttery, butterflies-in-stomach feelings were so raw then. Looking at the present, our relationship has passed 4 years, married life of 2 years and this is our 5th Valentines. While the blushing moments were already over, the sweetness and endearments lingered. =) Perhaps it’s because we got married after merely 1.5years together, even married life seems like honeymoon. =D My only wish is I hope this will be forever; that there will never be boring moments in our love life. =)

:

:

:

:

:

:

I dont like oysters. =P That’s probably due to my 1st ever horrible experience. So dearie had my share.

:

:

:

:

Lovely display isnt it? Too bad they dont taste half as nice as they looked. =P And dearie agreed with me. Standard had dropped drastically and we both decided not to book Fullerton’s Vday package again. For the price, it’s really not worth a risk, although I have to say the last 2 Valentines were heavenly. =)

:

:

:

:

:

Hmmm………I had red roses for the 1st, 2nd and 4th Valentines, sunflowers for the 3rd, and this year, I had blue roses! Something new and they’re simply vibrantly gorgeous! Now, they’re sitting prettily in my vase on our coffee table and I must say blue roses seemed to wilt slower or rather, less obvious as red roses. Dearie is very cute…other than the roses, he gave me a a pretty formal piece of document, printed like a certificate which stated that he had transferred a lot(1000shares) of dont-know-what shares to my name. They had been bought at around 50cts and the price now is 70cts or more. It was also stated that I have the right to redeem them anytime but of course the value is subjected to the financial market. (=.=)””

In short, he’s like giving me a gift of some sort of small inheritance which is invested for long term for higher returns. Hmm….a pretty unique gift but I guess I’ll leave it in his hands. =) Hopefully it will grow though. Heez.

We checked out as late as 2pm the next afternoon, 14th Feb 2011. Fullerton’s breakfast is like any other normal continental breakfast but it’s standard has improved tremendously. Their breakfast was horrible in the past! After checking out, dearie accompanied me to KTV at Partyworld Clementi. Finally!! Finally he has some time to accompany me to KTV. =P It has been such a long time since I go KTV for singing. Somehow, I have very few friends who really sing, as in purposely going to KTV to sing. At most, we sang 1 or 2 songs while we drink at KTV pubs. Not that I’m a hardcore, die-hard KTV fan but it has really been ages since I last sang to my heart’s fill. =) Although I highly suspected I bore dearie to death. Muahahaha.

Happy Valentines Dearie!!! Love you always~
